Job description
- Proven experience in Test Automation, designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automated tests & test frameworks
- Eager to utilize AI/Cursor to accelerate test script development and improve the automation process
- Hunger to mentor junior engineers and lead testing initiatives.
- Organize test cases, track coverage, and ensure alignment with acceptance criteria.
- Define and document test strategies aligned with project goals and risk assessment.
- Maintain and evolve test documentation to ensure traceability, clarity, and repeatability.
- Execute manual and exploratory testing for complex features or areas not yet automated.
- Log and track defects to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the release cycle.
- Validate bug fixes and production hotfixes with quick turnaround and accuracy.
- Lead initiatives for continuous process improvements and best practices in testing.
- Maintain high-quality standards and flag potential risks before deployment.
- Evaluate and introduce tools that support efficient test development and execution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge and experience in C# or another modern programming language (with the ability and willingness to work extensively in C#), with at least 5 years of hands-on development or testing experience.
- Proven experience writing headless automation tests for mobile applications using C#
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with .NET MAUI or Xamarin for mobile application development.
- Experience with Appium for mobile automation testing.
- Understanding of Bluetooth communication and device integration testing.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) to support automated testing processes.
