Software Engineer

• Designing and developing scalable backend services using Java and modern frameworks.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features and integrations.
• Enhancing system performance, reliability, and observability across cloud environments.
• Creating automation tools to improve operational efficiency and monitoring.
• Supporting continuous improvement through documentation, shared knowledge, and troubleshooting.

• Hold a bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Have a minimum of 5 years in full-stack or backend development using Java and modern frameworks.
• Apply experience with cloud infrastructure, APIs, and data storage platforms such as MySQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
• Use knowledge of microservices architecture and secure development practices to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to translate product vision into deliverables.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Have familiarity with technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or app marketplaces.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a nice-to-have

Maximum: $228,700.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
