Job description
We are seeking an Accounting Systems Integration Specialist to help customers successfully connect their accounting systems with AccuLynx and ensure their financial workflows operate effectively across platforms. While the primary focus today is on customer discovery, accounting workflows, and integration guidance, this role will also contribute to the evolution of AccuLynx's broader financial systems and integration capabilities as the platform continues to expand.
In this role, you will work directly with customers who use accounting platforms such as QuickBooks and Sage, helping them understand how their financial processes interact with AccuLynx. You will guide customers through accounting workflows, assist with configuration and best practices, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and visibility across their business systems through integrations and collaboration with third-party teams when applicable.
You will also serve as a key partner to our Product and Engineering teams by surfacing insights about how contractors use accounting tools in the real world. Your experience working directly with customers will help inform product improvements and integration opportunities.
This role is highly customer-facing and requires a strong understanding of accounting processes, business workflows, and how financial systems interact with operational software.
This is a full-time remote position reporting to the VP of Product and Design.
In this role, you will:
- Work directly with customers to understand their accounting workflows and how they integrate with AccuLynx.
- Guide customers through configuring and setting up accounting integrations with systems such as QuickBooks and Sage.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on accounting workflows and financial processes within the AccuLynx ecosystem.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer workflows through existing integrations or new integration capabilities.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to share insights about customer accounting needs and integration opportunities.
- Help develop best practices and training resources that enable customers and internal teams to better support accounting integrations.
- Provide consultative guidance to customers on aligning their financial processes with AccuLynx's capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand how they manage financial processes such as invoicing, payments, job costing, and revenue tracking.
- Advise customers on configuring and using accounting integrations effectively within AccuLynx.
- Serve as a trusted resource for customers using QuickBooks, Sage, or other accounting platforms.
- Identify and document integration opportunities that could improve the customer experience or reduce operational friction.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success teams to ensure accounting-related customer needs are understood and addressed.
- Help develop documentation and best practices that improve how customers adopt and use accounting integrations.
- Support training and knowledge sharing for internal teams related to accounting workflows and integrations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a product, implementation, or integration management role at a SaaS company
- Strong knowledge of Sage and QuickBooks accounting software (online and desktop versions)
- Experience working directly with customers to understand business processes and provide consultative guidance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain financial and operational concepts clearly to users not always familiar with accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements through software integrations.
- Experience working in SaaS, construction technology, or contractor-focused software is a plus.
