Job description

Partner with Technology Teams to establish the software architecture that meets the company's technology standards Create presentations to clearly articulate the architectural design of software systems, with audiences ranging from software developers to business and technology leaders Create detailed architectural designs for integrations between both internal and external Workforce Management (WFM) applications; Incorporate application security architectural standards into software solutions; Partner with business and technology stakeholders to establish the technical strategy/roadmap for WFM product(s) or product line(s) that will enable business outcomes Operate as a trusted advisor for the business, work to define the business intent and non-functional requirements, and provide a comprehensive IT architecture that will meet business needs; contribute to the growth of Technology Teams through coaching and mentoring Promote the architecture standards of software systems and contribute to the company's technology standards Research current and emerging technologies and identify technologies that can accelerate business value delivery such as generative and agentic AI Seek opportunities to improve technical competency, design, build, refactor or operate distributed large scale and impactful WFM IT projects

Requirements

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Applications Developer, Systems Engineer, or in a related/similar position Experience 5 years in software design, development and integration using Python, Java, JavaScript, APIs (such as Worker Import API, Payroll Export API, or REST/SOAP), Cloud platforms ( such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud), DevOps tools (such as GitHub, Jenkins, or Kubernetes/Docker), Cloud platform tools (such as AWS Lambda, Route53, Secrets Manager, or API Gateway), architectural design tools (such as Visio, Draw.io, or LeanIX ), Workforce Management Applications (such as Kronos, Pro WFM, Infor, or Workday Timekeeping), and messaging platforms (such as Kafka, Tibco EMS, or Amazon SNS). Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
