Job description
Open systems database administrator supporting Microsoft SQL Server. DBA responsibilities focusing on support of DB infrastructure across Microsoft Windows, AWS, and Azure environments., * The installation, configuration and maintenance of SQL Server DBMS environments
- Proactive monitoring of all databases
- Backup, recovery and housekeeping tasks
- Incident, capacity and performance management for both production and development environments and databases
- Disaster recovery
- On-call rotation and out of hours working to support incidents and changes
Requirements
- 4-year Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2 years' experience as a DBA with MS SQL Server including installation, configuration, maintenance, patching and upgrade of SQL instances
- Significant hands-on experience with SQL Server 2016 and up
- Logical and physical database design
- Backup, recovery and housekeeping
- Performance monitoring and tuning
- Experience with Windows server management
- Knowledge of clustering, mirroring, and replication in a SQL Server environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with in-depth performance monitoring toolsets
- Familiarity with Service Now and database automation
- Experience with Oracle, DB2, MySQL or other open system DBMS'

- Travel to other ET locations may be required, The Salary for this position generally ranges between $78,000 - $100,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company's discretion.

This is a hybrid position requiring three days in office per week in one of our hub locations (Cedar Rapids, Denver, Philadelphia). Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
