Job description
TECKpert is seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to support our client, a government agency in Miami, FL. This role will focus on modernizing legacy systems and migrating data into a centralized enterprise platform while ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET development, database programming, ETL processes, and enterprise system integration, along with the ability to work on large-scale modernization initiatives. This role will support enterprise permitting and inspection systems, including the modernization and migration of legacy applications into a centralized platform supporting county-wide permitting workflows.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain applications using C# and the .NET framework
- Design and implement solutions for migrating legacy systems including MS Access and mainframe environments
- Build and maintain REST and SOAP APIs for system integration
- Develop and optimize database solutions using Oracle and SQL
- Design and implement ETL processes using SSIS for data transformation and migration
- Develop reports and data solutions using SSRS
- Implement MVC architecture and modern development practices
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Support automation of workflows and business processes

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 years of experience developing applications using C# and the .NET framework
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with relational databases, including Oracle and SQL Server
- Minimum 4 years of experience writing PL/SQL, stored procedures, and optimizing database queries
- Minimum 4 years of experience designing and implementing ETL solutions using SSIS
- Minimum 5 years of experience building and consuming REST or SOAP APIs
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on enterprise application development projects
- Experience implementing MVC architecture in web applications
- Experience working on large-scale system integrations and data migration initiatives
- Strong experience with JavaScript and jQuery for web-based applications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in government or public sector environments
- Experience with permitting systems, land management systems, or regulatory workflow applications
- Experience working with platforms such as EnerGov, Accela, or similar permitting solutions
- Experience modernizing legacy systems such as MS Access or mainframe applications
- Experience with workflow automation and business process optimization
Benefits & conditions
This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $125,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.
