Job description
As the Staff Marketing Data & Automation Engineer, you will be a senior individual contributor responsible for designing and operationalizing applied AI capabilities within our Marketing and Go-To-Market workflows. Operating within enterprise data and automation standards, you will build scalable, AI-enabled systems that directly improve pipeline quality, targeting precision and conversion efficiency.
In this role, you will own the AI-powered data transformation layer, from initial prompt design and model integration to downstream activation into core revenue platforms like Salesforce and Marketo. You will serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring team members and elevating the collective output of the department by defining reusable AI design patterns., * AI Solution Design: Translate Marketing OKRs into AI-enabled data workflows, designing systems for automated enrichment, summarization, and lead signal generation.
- Architecture & Delivery: Implement AI workflows using enterprise frameworks (e.g., MCP) and evaluate model architectures-including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agentic workflows-based on performance and cost-scalability.
- Data Activation: Operationalize AI-enriched signals into our Snowflake data warehouse and activate them across the revenue stack, including Salesforce (CRM) and Marketo (MAP).
- Governance & Quality: Establish human-in-the-loop controls and evaluation frameworks to monitor model drift, accuracy, and compliance with data privacy policies.
- Strategic Leadership: Advise leadership on AI opportunity sequencing and ROI, while identifying automation capacity to quantify total operational impact.
Requirements
- Expertise in AI/LLMs: Significant hands-on experience building production workflows using LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and Agentic AI frameworks.
- Data Engineering Mastery: Advanced SQL and Python skills with deep experience working in cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery.
- System Integration: Proven ability to integrate external APIs (REST/SOAP) into operational data systems and revenue platforms.
- Strategic Execution: Experience owning technical systems from initial experimentation through full-scale operationalization.
- Collaborative Mindset: A track record of thriving in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments and mentoring junior engineers.
Preferred
- Experience supporting Growth or Revenue Operations teams.
- Familiarity with dbt for transformation and Airflow for orchestration.
- Knowledge of specialized data acquisition tools like Firecrawl.
Benefits & conditions
The compensation that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $152,000 - $190,000 [base pay]. The actual compensation for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
