Job description

Cape Gun Works is seeking a Customer Solutions Specialist to support our front-end customer service operations. This role is responsible for assisting customers by phone, email, live chat, and in person while coordinating with retail sales, web orders, and inventory teams., * Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, live chat, and in person in a professional and timely manner.

  • Provide accurate product information and assist customers with locating items and resolving concerns.
  • Coordinate with retail sales, web orders, and inventory staff to support day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain customer records, notes, and follow-up information in CRM and POS systems.
  • Support a positive customer experience and help maintain strong relationships with members and repeat customers.
  • Assist with additional front-end and operational tasks as needed.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple priorities., * High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and communication channels simultaneously.
  • Comfortable using computers, web-based systems, CRM software, and POS systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Availability to work a full-time schedule, including rotating weekends.
  • Ability to pass a background check, where permitted by law.
  • Massachusetts LTC required, or ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire, if required for the role., * Prior customer service or retail experience.
  • Familiarity with firearms products and related retail operations.
  • Experience supporting online orders, inventory coordination, or member-based customer service.
