Senior Network Engineer (Hybrid)

• Configure and support various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, wireless...etc)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades.
• Assist customers with complex technical needs and planning.
• Create, document, and escalate issues and problems according to company standards.
• Monitor assigned tickets and tasks and provide service or escalation as necessary.
• Provide support for escalated help desk tickets.
• Deliver technical customer support over the phone and in person.
• Perform remote scheduled maintenance.

Technical Skills

• Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g. IPSEC, QoS, routing protocols…etc)
• In-depth knowledge of VPN technologies.
• Deep understanding of wide area networking and SD-WAN.
• Experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 switching.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure

• Works well with clients at all levels, from executive to IT to end user., * Associates Degree in Network Administration or equivalent experience.
• Sophos XGS series firewall experience a plus.
• Linux experience a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in supporting complex networks.
• Experience with virtualization and storage technologies a plus.
