Job description

  • Own the architecture and strategy for a modern, enterprise-wide data ecosystem
  • Build scalable pipelines and data models that support clinical, operational, and business insights
  • Partner with leadership to turn data into a competitive advantage across the organization

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain end-to-end data architecture to support scalability and performance
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple data sources into a centralized warehouse
  • Develop dimensional data models (star/snowflake schemas) for analytics and reporting
  • Create semantic layers and backend structures for Power BI dashboards and reporting
  • Architect a unified data view across clinical, operational, and customer data sources

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or similar roles
  • Advanced expertise in SQL Server, including T-SQL and performance tuning
  • Strong experience building ETL/ELT pipelines (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, dbt, or similar)
  • Deep understanding of dimensional data modeling and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, security)
  • Strong understanding of data security and compliance standards (HIPAA)
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical projects end-to-end

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthcare or behavioral health environments
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks or similar)
  • Experience building "Customer/Patient 360" data models
  • Exposure to modern data stack tools and cloud-based architectures
