Job description

Responsible for the integration, installation, repair, and lifecycle maintenance of Theater Mission Planning Cell (TMPC) and Joint Mission Planning Systems (JMPS) both ashore and afloat

Tasked with integrating, testing, and performing quality assurance checks on equipment racks and ensuring that all systems are completed on schedule and on budget.

Assists helpdesk and Navy Personnel by providing Tier II SME support to assist in resolving complex hardware related issues.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) for TMPC/JMPS hardware and peripherals.

Responsible for the cross-training of personnel.

Installed and configured various peripherals: scanners, modems, tape backups, printers, SCSI devices, hubs and switches, and digital imaging devices

Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.

Experience interfacing with management, government, and navy personnel.

Requirements

DCS is seeking a customer focused Computer Systems Analyst proven results in the areas of computer hardware design, integration, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of Department of Defense computer systems., Excellent written and communication skills, A High School Diploma plus 13 years of experience, an Associate's plus 7 or a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of professional experience.

Must have or be able to attain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

Knowledgeable in computer hardware including various workstations, servers, RAID arrays, laptops, tape libraries, printers, networking devices, Uninterruptable power supplies.

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills:

Experienced with standard workshop tools as well as electrical/electronic test equipment.

Familiarity with network hardware: switches, hubs, routers, and firewalls.
