Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Kaleido, you will help design, build, and scale the infrastructure powering enterprise blockchain and digital asset platforms. You'll work across distributed systems, blockchain integrations, cloud-native services, and developer tooling in high-scale production environments., As a Senior Backend Engineer you will:

• Designing and building scalable backend services and APIs in Go.
• Developing infrastructure and platform tooling for blockchain nodes, custody systems, tokenization workflows, and digital asset platforms.
• Building and operating cloud-native microservices architectures in Kubernetes-based production environments with a focus on reliability, observability, and scalability.
• Working closely with protocol, product, and infrastructure teams to integrate new blockchain networks, protocols, and platform capabilities.
• Improving engineering velocity through CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, internal tooling, and operational best practices.
• Collaborating with highly technical engineers across backend, protocol, DevOps, and infrastructure disciplines.
• Evaluating and leveraging modern AI-assisted engineering workflows and tooling where appropriate across development and operational processes.
• Participating in technical architecture discussions and helping shape engineering standards, scalability decisions, and long-term platform design.
• Staying current with developments across blockchain infrastructure, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and backend engineering practices.

Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, * 5+ years of backend software engineering experience building scalable distributed systems in production environments.

• Computer Science degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience with Go (Golang).
• Experience designing and operating microservices architectures in cloud-native environments.
• Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation tooling.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking fundamentals, APIs, concurrency, and backend architecture patterns.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting high-scale production systems with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently drive technical solutions from design through implementation.
• Ability to learn quickly, navigate ambiguity, and work across a broad technical surface area.
• Strong communication with team members, stakeholders, and customers., * Experience working with blockchain infrastructure, RPC systems, validators, or node operations.
• Experience integrating with EVM-based chains, Ethereum tooling, wallets, custody systems, or tokenization platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with TypeScript or Python.
• Experience with observability tooling, distributed tracing, and production monitoring systems.
• Exposure to AI-assisted engineering workflows, automation tooling, or AI infrastructure integrations.
• Open-source contributions or experience working with developer platforms and SDKs.
