Job description
We're seeking a PeopleSoft Administrator to support and optimize our PeopleSoft FSCM environments. You'll handle installs, configuration, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and system stability across Production and Non-Prod.
What You'll Do ️
Manage PeopleSoft app, web, batch, and reporting components Perform PeopleTools/app upgrades & PUM deployments Tune performance and maintain system security Support Oracle/Unix & Windows integrations Work closely with Dev, DBA, Security & Infra teams, * Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, administration, and support for PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM applications including application and PeopleTools 8.62 or higher upgrades
- Coordinates OS and PeopleSoft upgrades and updates with Oracle SR's
- Provides technical and production support for server patches and certificates
- Coordinate with DBA teams to define and maintain database requirements and optimization strategies as well as refreshes for non-production environments.
- Assists with debugging and tuning the batch processing schedule
- Adheres to all configuration management processes and procedures
- Documents lessons learned, tuning efforts, outages in ticket tracking systems
- Upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct at all times
- Manage code migrations across environments using STAT migration tool
- Partner with Infrastructure and Network teams to define and support Unix, Linux, and Windows server requirements.
- Provides production support for escalated issues, including troubleshooting security and performance across all PeopleSoft FSCM modules, while proactively monitoring system performance and administering services across all environments
Requirements
Strong PeopleSoft FSCM + PeopleTools admin experience Skills in upgrades, patches, and performance tuning Solid understanding of Oracle/Unix & Windows environments, * Minimum 5+ years of experience in administrating PeopleSoft application software environments including Oracle Weblogic, PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle, MS SQL Server, servers running Windows, Unix and Linux Operating Systems, and Web technologies including Apache and IIS Web servers.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a PeopleSoft production support capacity of which at least 3+ years includes experience with FSCM release 9.0 or higher.
- Strong knowledge of the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture.
- Experience in applying PeopleSoft Bundles and Fixes using the PUM.
- Experience in PeopleTools and Financial Application Upgrades.
- Experience supporting highly customized FSCM environments.
- Knowledge of STAT tool is preferable.
- Experience supporting environments running Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems.
- Experience administering PeopleSoft environments hosted in cloud infrastructure platforms preferred. This includes experience with PeopleSoft deployments in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environments
- Advanced SQL and UNIX skills necessary
- Ability to troubleshoot all areas of the PeopleSoft architecture, i.e. application servers, process schedulers, web servers, and client desktop installations.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills, sufficient to provide accurate problem analysis to the business unit and follow up with documentation.
- Operates with a high level of accountability in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, responding decisively to critical issues and delivering solutions efficiently under pressure
- Setup roles, permission lists, and general development security.
- Collaborate with security teams on roles and permissions
- Partner with development teams to assess performance impacts
- Work with DBA teams on database optimization
- Coordinate with Infrastructure/Network teams on system requirements
- Support technical teams in resolving performance issues
