Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Information Technology Help Desk Specialist to join a dynamic IT support team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for end-users requiring assistance with hardware, software, and network issues. Your expertise will ensure seamless technology operations across the organization by providing prompt, effective solutions and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.   • Troubleshoot and resolve software problems across various operating systems.
  • Manage computer hardware components such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with computer management tasks including software installations, updates, and configurations.
  • Support network administration activities.
  • Maintain user accounts and permissions and assist users with password issues and password resets.
  • Document incidents accurately in help desk ticketing system.

Requirements

  • One year experience in information technology., * A+ Certification preferred
  • Proven experience in providing technical support within a help desk or IT support environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across software applications including Microsoft Office Suite and operating systems like Windows.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware maintenance and management of mobile devices.
  • Experience working with user account management and permissions control.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
