Job description
- Works with series, Meisterbock, and Cubing personnel to evaluate measurement point and functional measurement deviations
- Geometrical homologation of supplier components
- Analysis of geometrical quality issues from pre-series to end of production
- Measurement and analysis of serial pieces to guarantee quality level and in case of deviations to recommend measures
- Reference Point System alignments
- Generates reports in PiWeb and reports out cross-functionally
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, South Carolina
- This role requires 5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
- Any Additional Travel Requirements: International, Domestic, 5-10% of the time, Passport desired but not required upon hire.
Requirements

- 5+ years of experience programming CMM machines and 3D scanners.
- 3+ years of experience evaluating part geometry and interpretation of measurement results.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field or equivalent experience required. Master's degree in engineering preferred.
- Knowledgeable with vehicle launch phased processes.
- Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control.
- Ability to visualize part in three-dimensional space and explain topics to non-technical team members.
- Ability to interpret drawings according to ISO standards.
- Practical experience with Zeiss tactile and optical measurement methods
- Strong documentation skills

- Strong initiative to develop professionally.
Optional/suggestions:
- Previous experience in automotive evaluating part and assembly geometry.
- Familiarity with manual and automated measuring equipment.
- Familiarity with measurement database software

- Familiarity with Polyworks
- Soft skills: Public speaking, cross-functional collaboration
- Is a self-starter. Can take initiative, work independently and find solutions without constant supervision.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial Salary: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00
