UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Software Engineer in Morrisville, NC Are you an innovative thinker? Are you passionate about IT process automation using cutting edge tooling platforms?, * Provide IT analysis for accounting and financial reporting business requirements, check the delivered functionality in the PeopleSoft FSCM product suite and pro-pose solutions to the business requirements.
- Translate the business requirements into PeopleSoft FSCM technical specifications and support testing and roll out of the technical components. Influence the Bank's strategy on financial consolidation, reporting and reference data management technology stack by reviewing latest technology trends in this space. Facilitate communication between business change, analysis, development, and testing teams.
- Produce and maintain business process and data flow architecture diagrams for Americas regulatory reporting. Partner with business and development teams to deliver projects on time and schedule. Reviewing business requirements with our business partners and create functional specifications, perform impact analysis.
- Serve as lead Techno-Functional PeopleSoft Consultant in all phases of system life cycle (analysis, design, develop, test, implementation) to support PeopleSoft Financials development initiatives and other related integration efforts. Coordinate and manage communication with integrating systems, vendors and internal IT staff.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of SOX compliance and applicability to technical practices and implementations. Provide business domain and/or technology and/or process expertise and mentoring.
- Apply technical architecture concepts and work with the technical architects to ensure the solutions delivered are robust and maintainable. Assess impacts to upstream and downstream partners, reviewing business requirements with our business partners and creating functional specifications.
- Can work hybrid (In-office/remote)., * PeopleSoft General Ledger; PeopleSoft Asset Management; PeopleSoft Accounts Payable; PeopleSoft Procurement; PeopleSoft Billing and Accounts Receivable; PeopleSoft Integration Broker; Financial Data Analysis and Group Reporting; Oracle PeopleTools; App Designer and SQR Programming; Unix and Shell Scripting; Oracle SQL; Cobol Programming; Agile Methodology; Scrum Ceremonies Facilitation; Batch Job Design and Optimization; Oracle Essbase Report and Data Modelling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering (Any), or a related field of study plus 8 years of experience in the job offered or 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer, People Soft IT Business Analyst, or a related occupation.
