Job description
Provides primary technical expertise for Lawson ERP System through the effective installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of application software and technical infrastructures, to ensure optimal performance. Lawson ERP System includes Lawson core applications (HR/Payroll, Procurement and Financials), Lawson Business Intelligence, Process Flow and Mobile Supply Chain System (MSCM). Responsible for the planning and upgrade of the Lawson ERP System. Needs to be well versed with Laswon System Foundation V10 and Landmark Administration. Proactively reviews system generated logs to monitor error messages and warnings and takes corrective actions, as needed. Supports application developers in troubleshooting application errors and performance issues. Performs migration of code from test system to production system and development systems. Creates and maintains code migration procedures. Maintains code control log and validates code migration documentation, in accordance with audit guidelines. Manages complex Information Technology projects/products in order to provide automated solutions that meet the business needs. Conducts or participates in system technical and application reviews to determine feasibility, cost and evaluate system usefulness for the Health System. Supports application analysts by performing general system maintenance, performs restores/refreshes as needed, writes and executes job scripts and application interfaces and provides internal training. Serves as the Lawson security expert (LS) and mentor and develops and maintains procedures and scripts to administer and maintain system access requirements. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience, * 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- 5 years recent/relevant programming/analysis achievements in successful project implementation.
- Lawson System and Security administration experience (Foundation, Portal, Websphere, Axway, Disaster Recovery), working knowledge of Unix and AIX.
- Experience using Lawson Compile programs, C++, Unix admin tools, COBOL programming and SQL programming.
- Experience with LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory, Networking, Security, Proxy, Messaging and Web Components.
- Scripting for administration/automation (ANT, VBScript, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows batch).
- Ability to coordinate system activities with Infrastructure team and to act as a liaison between technical support and application analysts.
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and coordinate with multiple IT groups, as needed.
- Experience working with project management tools and change control tools.
- Knowledge of developing interfaces with third party vendors.
- Hands-On experience in Data Conversion Techniques and Methodologies required.
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and MS Add-Ins.
- Must enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment with many growth opportunities offered through diverse projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- 5 years of experience supporting ERP Applications including, HR, Payroll, Supply Chain Management and Financial Applications
