Job description
Architect and own enterprise CI/CD pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and audit compliance. .Lead containerization strategy using Docker, Kubernetes, and best practice image lifecycle management. .Design and implement Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, or on prem), including namespaces, operators, ingress, resource quotas, and scaling. .Develop highly repeatable infrastructure as code using Ansible/AAP, Terraform, or cloud automation frameworks. .Define DevOps standards, governance, and tooling strategy for pipeline modernization. .Integrate observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing) into DevOps workflows. .Troubleshoot complex deployment, orchestration, and platform issues across distributed systems. .Mentor junior team members and guide cross team DevOps practices. .Produce architectural documentation, runbooks, automation frameworks, and operational design packages.
Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance .Bachelor's degree +14 years of relevant IT experience .Expert level experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). .Advanced Kubernetes and container orchestration expertise, including cluster administration. .Mastery of Docker image creation, registry management, and secure container pipelines. .Strong infrastructure automation skills using Ansible (required). .Extensive experience supporting Linux based distributed systems. .Understanding of networking, TLS, RBAC, secrets management, and cloud identity models.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: .Experience with GitOps frameworks (Argo CD, Flux CD). .Hands on cloud experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP. .Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd). .Background leading DevOps transformations in large enterprise or federal environments., * DevOps
