Job description
The Data Science Consultant will lead and continue to shape our data strategy and the build of our data warehouse, preparing it for future analytics and AI. This is a strategic role with some hands-on, leading and shaping the data warehouse build and future stages working with 3rd parties. We are almost finished with the MVP and will begin planning the next phase to migrate the MVP to the final technology choice. You must have lead the strategy, design and build of a data-warehouse., * Lead the enterprise-wide Data Science strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, digital transformation efforts and analytics maturity
- Oversee the design and implementation of the Data Warehouse enabling scalable, secure and governed access to enterprise data assets
- Develop and operationalize machine learning models that deliver measurable value in customer intelligence, operational efficiency and strategic forecasting
- Collaborate with business, product and technology leaders to identify and prioritize AI/ML use cases and embed data-driven decision-making across functions
- Ensure architectural integrity and scalability of all data platforms and pipelines, in compliance with security, privacy and governance standards
- Champion data quality, governance, and ethical AI practices and serve as a senior advisor on responsible data usage across the organization
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies and make strategic recommendations on new tools, frameworks and capabilities
- Own and evolve the data and AI technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and driving adoption of modern, cloud native and scalable data solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience in data science, data engineering or data platform leadership.
- 5+ years in a leadership position.
- Experience with modern data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks.
- Strong expertise in AI/ML techniques and frameworks.
- Experience with ETL processes and data platform development.
- Proficiency in Python programming is preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud is required.
- Experience leading teams and complex initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
