Job description

CreoGroup is seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Technician - Level 1 to provide first-line technical support across our manufacturing plants and corporate offices. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, Microsoft 365, ERP access, network connectivity, and endpoint devices while maintaining strong adherence to IT security and change management standards.

This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys supporting operational continuity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot Windows OS and Microsoft 365 issues (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, MFA)
  • Reset passwords and manage user accounts in Active Directory / Azure AD
  • Support ERP system access and basic troubleshooting
  • Install, configure, and deploy approved software and hardware
  • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)
  • Support barcode scanners and label printers in warehouse/manufacturing environments
  • Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Escalate complex issues to Level 2 or IT leadership as needed
  • Follow IT security policies and RFC/change management procedures
  • Maintain asset inventory and equipment tracking

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of IT support experience
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft 365
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with hybrid AD / Azure AD environments
  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification, * Technical troubleshooting

  • Documentation skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to work on manufacturing floor when required
  • Occasional travel between plant locations
