Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Technician with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting users and improving IT systems., Device & Hardware Support:

  • Purchase, deploy, update, and troubleshoot mobile devices and software (Apple & Android).
  • Purchase, deploy, update, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software (Windows OS).

Server & System Administration:

  • Maintain and configure physical and virtual servers, including hardware and software upkeep.
  • Perform administrative duties across multiple software platforms, including:

Adding/removing users:

  • Managing roles, permissions, and access
  • Maintaining system integrity and documentation

User Support:

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve issues related to computers, mobile devices, and associated applications.
  • Collaborate with staff members to research, diagnose, and resolve persistent or complex problems.

Networking & Infrastructure:

  • Purchase, install, and maintain networking equipment such as firewalls, switches, and access points.

Conduct periodic network maintenance, including:

  • Pulling and terminating Ethernet cables
  • Building and organizing network racks
  • Ensuring network reliability and security

General Responsibilities:

  • Stay current with technology trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of professional IT support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, mobile platforms (iOS/Android), and basic server management.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals and hardware installation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to lift equipment and perform physical networking tasks as needed.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

  • Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.)
  • Knowledge of firewalls or networking technologies (Cisco, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, etc.)
  • Previous helpdesk or multi-location support experience
