Job description

HokieVision's goal is to deliver personalized, significant and unexpected experiences to Virginia Tech fans whether they are in our venues, in their homes or traveling abroad. HokieVision is seeking creative, self-motivated individuals to join our team. The selected candidates will work with our ACC Network team to assist with ACC Network & ESPN broadcasts, web productions, training and other aspects of HokieVision., This is a developmental position designed to springboard the candidate to a long career in the sports production industry. As such, there is a 2-year cap on the position. The Coordinator will work with the ACC Network team and will work with the Athletics' external leadership team to plan and execute department initiatives. This position will also be ACC Network representative in select sports. This position reports to the Associate Director / ACC Network

Requirements

Do you have experience in Video editing?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Experience with editing software such as Adobe Premiere, or comparable software Previous experience with in-game live production for broadcast Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to work outside of typical business hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience. Experience in multiple control room positions in live production. Can include director, technical director, replay, graphics or camera Functional familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects). Previous experience working live linear broadcasts Experience working with students Experience shooting interviews and B-roll., The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
