Job description
We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team. This contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with diverse technologies and provide direct support to clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will excel in both technical problem-solving and client interactions, ensuring seamless IT operations and system functionality., * Configure, install, and maintain Windows and Mac computers to meet client requirements.
- Monitor systems daily to ensure the integrity of hardware and service operations.
- Execute change requests for systems and services promptly and accurately.
- Research emerging technology trends to identify opportunities for improving client systems.
- Provide onsite and remote troubleshooting and technical support to resolve client issues.
- Install and maintain network equipment, such as routers, switches, and access points, ensuring optimal connectivity.
- Create and update documentation for tasks, procedures, and essential client system information.
Requirements
- Collaborate with clients in detail-oriented environments to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- At least 3 years of IT support experience, preferably in a similar environment.
- Possession of A+ and/or Network+ certifications or equivalent knowledge.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interactions.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision.
- Valid driver's license to facilitate travel for onsite client support.
- Familiarity with PC desktop workstations, Active Directory, and Windows 10, 11.
- Proficiency in desktop imaging and basic network troubleshooting, including VLAN configurations.
- Commitment to continuous growth and staying updated on IT advancements.
