Job description
- Design and implement automated solutions using infrastructure-as-code principles to drive efficiency across AWS and Azure environments.
- Manage and optimize VMware virtual infrastructure and physical server assets to ensure peak performance and system accuracy.
- Lead the installation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of diverse network technologies to maintain 24/7 service availability.
- Collaborate as a key project team member to architect best-practice solutions that streamline IT and business functions.
- Proactively monitor and analyze network data to identify and implement system improvements that make our global services faster and more reliable.
Requirements
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering, System Administration, or IT Operations.
- Proven proficiency with cloud service providers, specifically AWS and Azure.
- Strong expertise in routing and switching configuration, troubleshooting, and network security frameworks.
- Experience with automation and configuration tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Solid understanding of server connectivity and VMware virtual infrastructure.
Bonus Points For
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python for advanced automation.
- Hands-on experience with physical Data Center setup and equipment installation.
- Background in supporting high-availability GNSS or positioning technology services.

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
