Job description
- Provide technical support for end user devices hardware (laptops, printers, tablets, mobile devices) and peripherals, software (COTS, GOTS, Web), network infrastructure (routers, switches, etc.), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), audiovisual display systems, duress alarms, analog and wireless technologies
- Schedule and coordinate customer desk-side support for the installation of new software or to performance hardware or software break/fix activities
- Set up and configure new end-user equipment including laptops, mobiles devices, printers, copiers, VTC units, VoIP phones and other peripherals
- Investigate and resolve all connectivity issues related to end-user, site infrastructure and IT equipment
- Participate in construction project planning, providing detailed requirements for facility IT specifications
- Responsible for the on-site coordination of break/fix installations with hardware maintenance providers, providing after hours support when required
- Execute and maintain IT infrastructure inventory information, completing regularly scheduled inventories of all IT cabinets and IT cabinet equipment, updating pictures, drawings and asset information
- Recommend customer service and IT process support enhancements by researching and recommending new technologies and processes
Requirements
- Current DoD issued Security Clearance
- BA/BS technical degree in computer science, information technology or a related field and 5 Yrs. Relevant experience
- Information Assurance Level Technician experience in a large gov consulting environment preferred
- IAT Level II Certifications: CompTIA CySA+/CompTIA Security+/EC-Council CND also preferred
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
