Job description

The Director, Digital Content is responsible for the strategy, development, and publishing of content across our owned digital channels - including social media, company websites, intranet , and email . This role sits at the intersection of marketing, storytelling, and operations, ensuring our brand voice is consistent and compelling across every touchpoint. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic thinker and hands-on executor; comfortable navigating a complex enterprise environment while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

What You'll Do

Content Strategy

  • Partner with SVP, Brand Marketing to d evelop and execute content strategy aligned with business objectives

  • P erform content audits or gap analyses to ensure the uniformity of content and its alignment with business goals across channe ls

  • Make channel recommendations based on audience, content type, and organizational goals

  • Manage editorial calendar to ensure consistent, timely content delivery

Content Creation

  • Partner across the agency to c reate and curate compelling content for social , company websites, intranet , and CRM

  • Collaborate with designers to source and collect visual assets for social and intranet content

  • Develop and publish content for internal and external audiences

  • Leverage AI tools to enhance content creation efficiency and quality

  • Ensure all content adheres to brand voice guidelines and maintains consistency across channels

Publishing & Operations

  • Manage content requests through ticketing system, coordinating with stakeholders across the organization

  • Maintain content freshness, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date

  • Oversee press page updates and related external communications

  • Manage and maintain CRM platform to support email marketing efforts

  • Publish and manage content across CMS platforms, primarily WordPress

  • Manage intranet content publishing and updates

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on content performance metrics (engagement, traffic, conversions) across channels , using Google Analytics and other tools

  • Provide actionable insights to optimize content strategy and inform decision-making

  • Stay current with digital marketing trends, platform updates, competitive sites and emerging tools to keep strategies fresh and effective, Occasionally the employee might be asked to perform minimal physical activity in support of onsite event execution

Requirements

  • A strategic thinker who can balance big-picture planning with hands-on execution

  • Passionate about content and staying current with digital trends

  • A deep understanding of the agency/media/marketing landscape

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 7-10 years of experience in digital content management, content marketing, or related roles

  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS

  • Proficiency with CMS platforms, particularly WordPress

  • Experience managing social media channels for a brand

  • Familiarity with intranet/SharePoint publishing platforms

  • Experience with content analytics and reporting tools

  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to support content workflows

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills

  • Experience in Advertising, Media, Publishing, and/or Enterprise B2B Tech

Nice to Have

  • SEO/AEO/GEO fundamentals and best practices

  • Experience with Akumina or similar enterprise intranet platforms

  • Experience with HubSpot or similar email marketing/CRM platforms
