Job description

Provide high level of people operations support to distribution center manager(s) including but not limited to the duties listed below., * New hire candidate pre-selection / setting up interviews

  • Complete onboarding processes for all new hires
  • Provide daily P&A (Productivity and Accuracy) data to each operations management team
  • Act as front-line liaison with staffing agencies
  • Play role in annual safety / security audits documentation / records retention / annual safety video compliance
  • Other duties to be assigned to fit changing business needs

Competent in working with Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word

Education/Experience:

3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Warehouse operation and product knowledge a plus.

Communication Skills:

The ability to communicate with distribution center management and its associates. The skills to communicate in a training capacity.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to organize and prioritize.

Computer Skills:

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software: including Excel, Word and Email. PPT

Needed Attributes:

Ability to change assignments on short notice. Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel within the company., The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 10 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
