Job description
Under the supervision of the IT Manager, the Technical Support Specialist provides entry-level to intermediate technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, and infrastructure equipment for firm personnel. This role supports a professional services environment and requires strong customer service, communication skills, and attention to detail., * Respond to end-user requests for technical support via phone, email, ticketing system, and in person.
- Provide day-to-day support for Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and standard office productivity applications.
- Support infrastructure and endpoint environments within an Active Directory and multi-site network.
- Build, configure, deploy, and maintain firm workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Assist with user account management, onboarding, offboarding, and access changes.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, and connectivity issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Document issues, resolutions, and procedures as required.
- Participate in miscellaneous IT projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT helpdesk, desktop support, or technical support role.
- Experience supporting a legal or professional services environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with:
- Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive)
- Active Directory user and computer management
- Basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, printers)
- Technical training or certifications a plus (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and learn quickly.
- Dependable, trustworthy, and professional with strong integrity and discretion.
