Job description

Platinum CCTV is an innovative, fast paced technology company that is making waves and aggressively growing in the video security industry. We are currently expanding our team in Warrenville and looking for an energetic, customer-focused person who enjoys working in a local office environment with other technology-oriented individuals to overcome varying challenges with client systems and providing support for our on-site installation teams. The right individual has a great attitude, is always looking to go the extra mile for customers and takes pride in their work in everything they do.

We go far beyond most security companies and provide customers with security camera systems that do more than they ever dreamed possible, and that isn't possible elsewhere in our industry. We also provide ongoing technical support for each of our clients, which means that we develop an ongoing relationship with our customers, they become a part of our family., We are looking for a full-time team member to provide tier 1 level technical support to end users as well as our on-site installation technicians for their CCTV security camera systems. This position will also provide support for pre-installation system assembly, testing as well as remote support for these products and installation. Additional office tasks as needed to support our technicians include: checking in product orders, cataloging product, setup of new security cameras, assembly, setup and testing of PCs, answering phones, processing and shipping orders office organization and more.

  • Network troubleshooting and remote setup
  • General customer service (in-person, phone, email and chat)
  • Office day to day: receiving, cleaning, and organization
  • Assembly of NVR PCs and setup with Windows/NVR software
  • Setup and Testing of new security cameras
  • Assist office with special projects
  • Preparing product for customers
  • Maintaining and Organizing databases of information
  • Monitoring stock levels and maintaining a clean and organized work environment

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent life and professional experience
  • Competency with Windows 10, Windows 11, iPhone and Android platforms
  • Troubleshooting capabilities with both software and hardware
  • Intuitive use of software programs
  • Ability to learn quickly and keep up with deadlines
  • Good computer skills with general IT knowledge: PC assembly and repair, networking, routing and network diagnostics
  • Basic Networking skills and understanding
  • Always looking to learn and grow
