Job description
As an associate manager of business systems for Personal Lines Control organization, you'll support Agency Commission. In this role, you'll lead a team of business systems consultants who are in charge of Auto, Special Lines, Commercial Lines, and Property commission systems. You'll partner closely with various business partners in IT, Agency, Legal, and other departments. You'll also work on a multi-year project to modernize existing commission systems.
This is a hybrid position, requiring you to work out of the Progressive Corporate headquarters (Mayfield Village, OH) at least one day per week.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements).
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 5 years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements).
Preferred skills
- Demonstrated success as a working manager and in coaching, developing, and elevating both individuals and teams to achieve high performance.
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems, evaluate solution options, and make recommendations that influence both business and platform strategy.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple initiatives concurrently, with strong systems analysis, requirements definition skills, and large-scale solution delivery.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end process improvement initiatives, including identifying gaps and inefficiencies, implementing sustainable solutions, and maintaining comprehensive, up-to-date process documentation.
- Proven success partnering with various business teams to co-create scalable systems solutions and deliver measurable outcomes., Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without the need or potential need, of current or future sponsorship for employment.
