Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst specialising in the Telecom and Cable industry to drive strategic insights and support data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will analyze complex business processes, develop innovative solutions, and collaborate across teams to optimise operational efficiency. Your expertise will empower our organisation to leverage cutting-edge data analytics tools and methodologies, ensuring we stay ahead in a competitive landscape. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence key projects, enhance data capabilities, and contribute to the success of our client, a telecommunications/cable company in Stamford, CT, is in need of 2 Business Analysts for a 6-month contract with a high likelihood of extension. The Business Analysts will work on a 4 days onsite/1 day remote schedule. The Business Analysts will be supporting a number of projects, ensuring that various systems at the platforms are aligned, leading up to a merger. Projects will be wide-ranging and related to customer experience initiatives, cable TV-related applications and platforms, regulatory/compliance initiatives, UI/UX, and/or mobile billing applications and platforms. The Analysts will be required to think on their feet and present to senior-level executives, so communication skills and general business acumen will be paramount.

Requirements

  • 3-10 years of Business Analyst experience - conducting requirements gathering, and creating user stories and BRD's
  • Telecom or Cable industry experience
  • Highly skilled with developing Use Cases and Process Flows
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting findings to executives

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience working at Cox Communications, with experience and familiarity with their systems and platforms (highly preferred)
  • Exposure to Amdocs, CSG, ICOMS, or similar (highly preferred)
  • Experience with Regulatory/Compliance Projects
  • Experience supporting a corporate merger or acquisition.
