Sofware Engineer (Scala) [208658]

• Working within an agile team, develop scalable backend software, using TDD. Develop Scala/Java applications running in an AWS environment.

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Scala
• Profound insight of Scala Internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Concurrency, Futures, Multithreading.)
• Building low-latency & high volume, distributed, scalable and reliable backend systems
• RESTFul APIs

PREFERRED experience:

• AWS
• Cats Effect, Http4s, Fs2, Akka
• Spring
• Frontend experience a plus
• Previous John Deere experience a plus

The target hiring compensation for this role is $65-71/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
