Job description

  • Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade enterprise networking solutions
  • Manage and support network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks
  • Troubleshoot network failures, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks
  • Perform network analysis, design, implementation, and ongoing support
  • Monitor network performance and ensure optimal system availability
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams and technical documentation
  • Support secure network operations through cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
  • Troubleshoot and remediate issues in a complex, voice-integrated infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Provide knowledge transfer and informal technical guidance to peers when appropriate
  • Implement updates, patches, and configuration changes to maintain secure and compliant systems

Requirements

Do you have experience in VPN management?, We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer Consultant to support and maintain a complex statewide enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, firewall administration, network troubleshooting, and security best practices in a large-scale environment.

This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across technical teams to maintain secure, stable, and high-performing network operations., * 10+ years of experience with Cisco Firewalls

  • 10+ years of experience with Cisco Routers
  • 10+ years of experience with Cisco Switches
  • 10+ years of experience with Cisco VPN technologies
  • 10+ years of experience with Cisco Administration
  • 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
  • 2+ years of experience with Palo Alto XDR
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to support multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

  • 10+ years of experience with monitoring and tracing tools
  • 10+ years of experience in core network architecture
  • 10+ years of advanced routing and switching troubleshooting experience
  • 4+ years of experience with wireless network infrastructure
  • 3+ years of experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure

Preferred Certifications

  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
  • CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
