Job description
CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead operations for a multi platform batch environmentowning Linux/Windows server reliability, CONTROL M/EM administration, and automation for mission critical workloads for a large federal agency., Lead installation, upgrades, and re hosting of CONTROL M/EM servers/agents across distributed environments; establish standards and change controls. .Direct RHEL and Windows Server patching/hardening, performance tuning, and capacity planning; drive proactive monitoring. .Architect automation (Shell/Python/PowerShell) and reporting to reduce toil and improve batch throughput; mentor engineers. .Partner with vendors on complex issues; produce root cause and recovery documentation; manage weekly program status.
Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance .Bachelor's degree +14 years of relevant IT experience .Expert RHEL & Windows Server administration; security compliance enforcement. .Deep experience with CONTROL M/EM install/upgrade/troubleshooting in large distributed environments. .Strong automation/scripting; familiarity with virtualization (VMware/Hyper V).
