Job description
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with research experience to design intuitive, high-quality digital experiences across multiple platforms. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on interaction and visual design, informed by lightweight user research and data-driven insights. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to translate user needs into scalable design solutions. The goal is to improve usability and reduce friction across customer journeys., Design & Execution
- Design user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes.
- Work across web, mobile web, mobile/tablet apps, and POS systems.
- Translate product requirements into intuitive design solutions.
- Create detailed design specifications for engineering teams.
- Iterate designs based on feedback and constraints.
Research & Insights
- Conduct lightweight research such as usability testing and concept validation.
- Collaborate with product and analytics teams to leverage insights.
- Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
- Validate designs through testing and feedback.
User-Centered Design
- Apply user-centered design principles.
- Identify usability issues and improvement opportunities.
- Balance user needs with business goals and technical feasibility.
Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers and engineers.
- Ensure design feasibility and scalability.
- Collaborate with marketing and branding teams.
- Present design ideas and research insights effectively.
Craft & Quality
- Maintain high standards of visual and interaction design.
- Follow design systems and accessibility standards.
- Participate in design critiques and reviews.
- Stay updated with UX/UI trends and best practices.
Requirements
- 4 - 7 years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating design work.
- Experience with user-centered design and UX research.
- Proficiency in Figma or similar tools.
- Experience with A/B testing and usability iterations.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design.
- Experience working with design systems.
- Ability to apply data and research insights.
- Familiarity with analytics and research tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in e-commerce or retail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
