Job description
- Develop and implement firmware solutions for new high-performance memory controllers and SSDs.
- Conduct detailed evaluation, creation, bench testing, debugging, and failure analysis of firmware.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to address and resolve product development challenges.
- Triage failures, file detailed bug reports, and support development teams in isolating and troubleshooting issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical area.
- 5+ years of proven experience in embedded firmware development.
- Proficiency in programming with Python and extensive use of scripting languages, programming tools, and environments.
- In-depth knowledge of storage interfaces, particularly PCIe/NVMe, and experience with NAND flash and other non-volatile storage technologies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and under the pressure of multiple priorities., * Master's degree or PhD, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical area.
- Experience in the storage industry, specifically with SSDs, HDDs, storage systems, or related technologies.
- Expertise in analog and digital hardware and software operating systems.
- Prior experience leading teams or supervising engineers and technicians with less experience.
- Familiarity with programming in machine language, assembly language, and high-level languages such as C and C++.
