Job description
The Payer Relations and Systems Specialist is responsible for projects related to the company's licensure, payer contracts, and the Brightree system. This position also assists the Payer Relations and Systems Manager with any Brightree conversions related to new acquisitions and mergers as well as all other duties assigned while maintaining compliance with all applicable rules and regulations., * Creating and maintaining Brightree files which includes price files and insurance files, as well as web portals for insurance companies
- Process ERN/EFT applications
- Completing new and renewal insurance applications for new and existing branch locations. As well as communicating with insurances via phone or email regarding contract network, licensure and fee schedules.
- Ensure timely request of new and renewal licensure requirements as needed for state and insurance regulations for all branch locations.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action which may be taken.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma, GED and/or one year credentialing experience
- Data Entry experience and time management
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Microsoft Excel
- Reporting and data analysis
- Experience working with insurance companies, billing and document management
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite., * Exceptional time management
- Deadline oriented

- Ability to work individually or with a team
- Ability to perform outreach via phone, email or other means

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position. May include both in-office and at home flexibility., The employee is generally required to sit; frequently stands, may climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include both close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
