Job description

At Caldera, technology is the backbone of everything we build - from precision manufacturing to operational efficiency across our facilities. The Sr. IT Manager plays a critical role in ensuring our systems, infrastructure, and data are secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs., This role is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for leading IT operations across multiple locations while supporting the day-to-day needs of employees and leadership. The IT Manager ensures systems run efficiently, supports continuous improvement, and helps drive Caldera's evolution into a more scalable, technology-enabled organization., * Oversee daily IT operations, including network, servers, systems, and end-user support

  • Ensure system uptime, performance, and reliability across all locations
  • Manage hardware and software lifecycle, including procurement, installation, and maintenance
  • Maintain and support ERP, HRIS (e.g., UKG), and other business-critical systems

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents
  • Ensure compliance with applicable data protection and industry standards
  • Manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity processes

Vendor & SaaS Management

  • Manage IT vendors, service providers, and consultants
  • Administer SaaS applications including licensing, renewals, and usage
  • Support contract tracking and vendor performance monitoring

Team Leadership & Support

  • Lead and develop IT staff or external vendors/service providers
  • Provide hands-on support for escalated technical issues
  • Establish service levels and ensure timely resolution of IT requests
  • Promote a customer-service mindset within IT support

Systems & Projects

  • Lead IT-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations on system improvements and automation
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes, including system access and equipment setup

Budget & Cost Management

  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, consultants, and service providers
  • Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance
  • Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions, This job description is not a binding contractual document. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including systems administration and network management
  • 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing or multi-site environment strongly preferred

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, and cloud environments
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and HRIS platforms (UKG experience a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft environments (Office 365, Active Directory, etc.)
