Job description
- Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk
- Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost
- Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies
- Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
- Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Mentor less experienced software engineers
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively
Requirements
- 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years C# .NET and .NET Core
- 5+ years Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL
- 4+ years experience demonstrating the ability to document technical designs/solutions for complex, strategic efforts
- 3+ years LIQ experience, strong understanding of the data model
- 3+ years' experience with Agile development methodologies
- 3+ years' experience with commercial lending business
- 3 + years' experience using tools like Jenkins/Harness, GitHub
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of the Finastra SDK tool
- Knowledge and understanding of the Finastra DCT tool
- Experience with Java
- Understanding of messaging platforms such as MQ, Kafka, Solace
- Experience in AutoSys
- Experience with Network Data Mover (NDM)
- Experience with Powershell, windows command scripts, bash shell scripting
- Familiarity with Finastra LIQ add on's such as the Data Propagation took and Auto Cash Matching
