Job description

SJC Technology Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Technician to join our growing team. We are a veteran-owned Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Fort Myers, delivering world-class IT solutions to small and medium-sized businesses across Southwest Florida and beyond.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide both onsite and remote support to clients for hardware and software issues.
  • Troubleshoot Windows desktops/laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain Microsoft Office 365 accounts and services.
  • Assist in configuring and maintaining networks, firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Provide Help Desk support and respond to client tickets in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage antivirus platforms across client systems.
  • Educate clients on cyber security best practices and awareness.
  • Collaborate with the internal team on IT projects and proactive system maintenance.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or as a technician, preferably in an MSP environment.

  • Strong knowledge of:

  • Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365 setup and troubleshooting

  • Network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, firewalls, etc.)

  • Antivirus management and endpoint protection solutions

  • Cyber security awareness principles

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to non-technical users.

  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to local client sites as needed.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365, or equivalent.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote management tools

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
