Job description
SJC Technology Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Technician to join our growing team. We are a veteran-owned Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Fort Myers, delivering world-class IT solutions to small and medium-sized businesses across Southwest Florida and beyond.
What You'll Do:
- Provide both onsite and remote support to clients for hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot Windows desktops/laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Set up, configure, and maintain Microsoft Office 365 accounts and services.
- Assist in configuring and maintaining networks, firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Provide Help Desk support and respond to client tickets in a timely manner.
- Monitor and manage antivirus platforms across client systems.
- Educate clients on cyber security best practices and awareness.
- Collaborate with the internal team on IT projects and proactive system maintenance.
Requirements

2+ years of experience in IT support or as a technician, preferably in an MSP environment.

Strong knowledge of:

Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365 setup and troubleshooting

Network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, firewalls, etc.)

Antivirus management and endpoint protection solutions

Cyber security awareness principles

Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to non-technical users.

Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to local client sites as needed.
Nice to Have:
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365, or equivalent.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote management tools
