Automotive Calibration Specialists (ACS) & Gary's Airbag Service (GAS) is growing, and we're looking for a hands-on ADAS Technician to join our Watsonville team. - Utilize various tools, diagnostic equipment, and IT support team to make the most effective calibrations, diagnostics, and repairs of vehicles.
- Perform static and dynamic ADAS Calibrations on foreign, domestic and EV (electric) vehicles onsite and at customer locations.
- Troubleshoot complex calibration repairs.
- Picking up and delivering vehicles as needed.
- Test drive vehicles after repairs are completed.
- Adequately explain ADAS calibration specifications and repair planning needs; to include collision repair center personnel, insurance adjusters, and direct customers.
- Complete interior and exterior R&I's.
- Module Programming.
- Diagnose and repair wiring and harness systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and tire inspections.
- Perform structural repairs including full and partial frame swaps in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- AC Evacuate Recharge on R1234YF systems.
- Continuously learning new technical information/techniques.
- Perform A/C evacuation and recharge on R1234YF systems.
- Perform general mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, steering components, engine diagnostics, and electrical system repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who's motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to grow with us. If that sounds like you, we'd love to have you on our team!, * Knowledge of Diagnostic Scan Tools preferred.
- 5+ years' experience in automotive repairs and/or diagnostics.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Personable, friendly demeanor with "How can we help" customer service approach.
- Must be able to stand for long periods during the repair of a vehicle.
- Must be able to walk, sit, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and/or caustic chemicals.
- Occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions. Must have the ability to work in a shop environment in inclement weather.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles.
- Extensive travel within the assigned area may be expected.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to comfortably navigate a computer., License/Certification:

- Complete certain mechanical repairs following OE specifications and repair standards
