Job description

  • Build Web Service APIs: Develop REST APIs in C# (.NET) that act as the interface between our C++ engines and the cloud.
  • Develop Professional Web Applications: Build new 3D scanning data processing applications on the Trimble cloud platform.
  • Master & Integrate: Deep-dive into Trimble's core services (Storage, Auth, UI) to ensure our integration is flawless and perfectly aligned with ecosystem requirements.
  • Go Beyond: Help drive the evolution of existing frameworks by identifying bottlenecks and architecting necessary upgrades - whether through targeted optimization or custom backend extensions., You will be working with a modern, robust set of tools including:
  • Infrastructure: Docker, Terraform, AWS
  • Backend: C#, MongoDB
  • Frontend: TypeScript, SolidJS, Web Components
  • Nice to have: NX Monorepo

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in developing cloud applications.
  • Cloud Fluent: Proficient with AWS or Azure technologies and a solid understanding of modern RESTful API design.
  • Systems Aware: You understand how to wrap a Dockerized binary in a web service and how to manage the data I/O between them.
  • Frontend-Capable: Experience with modern reactive frameworks; exposure to SolidJS or Web Components is a strong plus.
  • Mindset: Highly motivated, challenge-oriented, and an autonomous self-starter with an achievement-based drive.
  • Communication: Comfortable working within an international, English-speaking engineering team.
