Analytics Engineer

Interested? Read more below and apply!, As an Analytics Engineer, you work in the space between data engineering and reporting. You maintain existing data structures, connect new data points and help shape datasets that support meaningful analysis. This role offers a great mix of hands-on work, business contact and room to grow as the data platform evolves. You will have the chance to influence the next phase of Ampelmann's data landscape while working closely with experienced colleagues and external partners. In this role, you will report temporarily to the Director Structural Change.

Regular Activities

• Design, build and optimize ETL pipelines in Azure Synapse Analytics to ensure reliable, scalable data flows from multiple sources
• Integrate internal and external data sources into a centralized data warehouse, handling complex transformations and data quality
• Create and maintain dimensional data models and semantic layers for reporting and analysis
• Develop and optimize self-service analytics and Power BI solutions that enable stakeholders across the business to discover insights independently
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical specifications

Do you have experience in T-SQL?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * BSc degree and 5+ years of experience in a similar role

• Solid expertise in SQL/T-SQL, ETL, Azure services, data warehousing and Power BI
• Experience in the Microsoft data stack and working with business-focused analytics environments
• Ownership mindset with analytical thinking to proactively improve data quality
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent English (spoken and written)

The team ensures digital enablement by designing, implementing, and managing solutions that support operational excellence and organizational transformation. Working with internal stakeholders and external partners, the team delivers scalable, secure digital capabilities in line with company strategy and governance frameworks. The team consists of 2 Functional Consultants, 2 Product Owners / Solution Architects, 1 Project Manager, and 1 Data Engineer.
