Job description
Your role will include assisting with legal administration, and general administrative tasks on a variety of client matters, all while developing your knowledge and skills in a supportive environment., * To predominantly process and manually archive property Deeds, checking data before sending to our offsite storage provider
- To answer the telephone and deal proactively wit a wide range of queries related to the role
- To maintain the Talbots archiving system and assist in filing and retrieving documents within the Kidderminster storage facilities
- Ordering DACS storage boxes and barcodes, ensuring there is always sufficient stationery
- Handling requests from colleagues for the retrieval of documents from storage in a timely manner
- Reporting on internal databases that all files requested each week by colleagues in other offices have been received
- Arrangements for the inter office document / file distribution (known as 'File Run')
- Scanning of documents as appropriate
- Updating internal Deeds databases as required
Requirements
Do you have experience in Typing?, We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn individual to join Talbots as an Archiving Administrator within our Business Support Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in the legal field, with a particular focus on the administration of property deeds., * Knowledge and understanding of case management systems
- Basic knowledge of the law of Deeds
- Basic knowledge of the archiving process
- Passionate about giving outstanding client care and service
- Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
- Accurate and articulate in written and spoken communication (including excellent spelling and grammar)
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to use own initiative to problem solve whilst also being aware of own limitations
- Excellent administrative, planning, organisation and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Proficient in the use of IT, including all MS Office applications, email and internet
