Job description

Based in our Cardiff Office, as the Systems Technician you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our PCOEU systems. This includes data maintenance, system administration, user support and troubleshooting.

The role includes the day-to-day administration of PCOEU Systems, including adding and maintaining data, rules and dependencies, providing user training and user support. The candidate will have the ability to manage and maintain good relationships with all CPQ stakeholders across Europe.

The role holder will report directly to the Software Solutions Team Leader and will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple teams throughout the organization. The candidate will demonstrate a desire for continuous improvement, streamlining existing processes, supporting the improvement of operational efficiency and development of new processes.

How you will become part of the bigger picture...

As part of our team, you will:

  • Work closely with sales and operations teams to understand requirements and then identify and implement new features of Salesforce RCA to support and evolve the business.
  • Set up and maintenance of SKUs, pricing and marketing information relating to Toughbook products, services and accessories for the European market.
  • Keep up to date with the latest upgrade and release functionality of Salesforce RCA.
  • Act as the RCA Subject Matter Expert, and CPQ trainer.
  • Manage the development, testing and implementation of identified enhancements to the business RCA system utilising structured project management skills.
  • Manage user access and other provisioning setup for internal and external users in accordance with corporate policy.
  • Populate all data tables to enable Guided Selling, Configuration & Pricing, User Interface Updates and Quoting Process.
  • Maintain Master Data Integrity within RCA, in conjunction with Planning's master files.
  • Maintain Accessory and Service compatibility tables for all Product Lines and Product Families.
  • Maintain a library of product images, logos and quick links to deliver an optimal user interface.
  • Manage new designated products, accessories and services registration in WFS.
  • Maintain designated product lifecycle in PCOEU UK Systems.
  • Manage Engineering Change Order (ECO) in the PCOEU UK Systems.

Whether you're just starting out or bring years of experience, if you have a genuine interest in design, technology and products-and believe this role is right for you-we'd love to hear from you., * At least four years' general IT experience with strong technical abilities and an interest in IT systems.

  • Salesforce RCA experience
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of energy and persistence.
  • Meticulous and methodical with a can-do attitude.
  • An excellent communicator, able to liaise with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to work through problems with customers, gathering key information to aid with issue resolution and achieving positive outcomes.
  • Well organized with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Handling multiple tasks simultaneously and within tight time constraints.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Quick learner and the ambition to advance career with a structured training program.
  • Experience in a similar fast-paced, target-driven sales environment.
  • Experience of SharePoint or other helpdesk ticketing systems.
  • Advanced MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint:
  • Can prioritise work and accurately triage support calls
