Job description

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions currently has an immediate opening for MRC Systems Assistant. in Woodridge, IL. This position offers a pay range of $19-21 per hour for 1st shift.

Overall Purpose

The Materials Review Committee (MRC) Systems Assistant works with the Systems Administrator in supporting and maintaining all information systems used by the MRC and materials disposition process. The MRC Systems Assistant supports the corporation's business activities, while maintaining the highest standards of customer quality and company performance.

Reports to

Direct : Site Manager Indirect : Area Manager/ Director of Operations

Responsibilities

· Track, compile, and report Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) data to support quality and operational initiatives.

· Maintain databases, spreadsheets, queries, and reporting tools used within the MRC and materials disposition process.

· Record and verify material disposition information within customer and internal quality management systems.

· Analyze quality and operational data to identify trends, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.

· Generate reports, metrics, dashboards, and summaries for management and customer review.

· Create, update, and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and system procedures.

· Attend MRC meetings with customers and internal teams; document and distribute meeting minutes and action items.

· Verify the identity, quantity, and disposition status of materials entering and exiting containment areas.

· Retrieve and coordinate movement of suspect or nonconforming materials from inventory locations as needed.

· Utilize customer inventory, production, and quality systems to support daily operational requirements.

· Collaborate with operations, quality, and customer representatives to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable reporting and material control activities.

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Do you have experience in Customer service?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Values & attitudes

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with databases, reporting tools, data entry, and quality systems documentation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
  • Experience using inventory management systems, quality databases, and customer-specific systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment to verify product quality and material disposition

Work experience

Overall recommendations

  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, quality systems, inventory control, or data management preferred
  • Experience supporting quality, materials review, or containment processes preferred
  • Experience working with ERP systems, inventory systems, or customer quality portals preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large volumes of data while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Customer service or customer-facing experience required
  • Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
