Job description

  • Collect, clean, and analyze raw data from multiple systems to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for program improvement.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Interpret data and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation of data workflows, reporting processes, and analytical methodologies.
  • Respond to data requests, conduct research, and compile findings using appropriate analytical techniques.
  • Deliver findings from data queries by preparing and presenting clear, accurate reports and visualizations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Use tools such as Excel, Power BI (if applicable), Confluence, Jira, SQL, and other agency systems to support analytics and system operations.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SharePoint?, * Requires experience working with data analytics and raw data.

  • Extensive experience or knowledge of Human Services Programs, policies, and procedures, especially local department operations in a state-supervised, locally administered environment.
  • Familiarity with SQL or other query tools used to extract or manipulate data.
  • Experience developing or maintaining dashboards, reports, or performance metrics.
  • Experience researching and gathering data, compiling results, and solving problems, using a variety of research / analytical methodologies.
  • Experience using production systems such as VACMS, Keystone Edge, CRM, & COMPASS, but not limited to.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills, and experienced in using Word, Visio, Google Docs, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, and Jira.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide professional, courteous service to internal and external customers.
