Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Systems Technician to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations across various platforms. Your expertise will help support our organization's digital ecosystem, including operating systems, cloud services, and application integrations.   • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components across Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades or patches to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to operating systems, network connectivity, and application performance promptly and effectively.
  • Manage and support IT infrastructure including servers, databases (Oracle), APIs, and virtualization environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams using Agile methodologies to support SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes involving Java, Python, and DevOps practices.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Python or Java to improve efficiency.
  • Assist in the deployment of cloud-based solutions and integration of APIs for seamless data exchange between systems.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports meticulously for future reference and compliance.

Requirements

Do you have experience in ERP systems?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; equivalent experience considered.

  • Proven experience supporting IT infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux; familiarity with AWS, Azure, and cloud computing concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python or Java for automation purposes.
  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies and Agile project management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with databases like Oracle and API integration techniques.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
