Job description
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. This is an in-house role responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting all aspects of our IT environment. The ideal candidate will be capable of operating as a one-person IT department, taking full ownership of our technology infrastructure and day-to-day support needs., Help Desk & End-User Support

Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT support requests across the organization

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner

Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals

Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Network & Infrastructure

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the company network including routers, switches, and firewalls

Manage server infrastructure, including backups, updates, and performance monitoring
-
Ensure network uptime, stability, and security across all locations
-
Coordinate and manage VoIP/phone systems
Cybersecurity

Implement and manage cybersecurity measures including antivirus, firewalls, and threat detection
-
Ensure data protection and compliance with company security policies
-
Manage user access controls, permissions, and password policies
-
Conduct regular security audits and respond to incidents
Cloud & Systems Management

Manage and administer Microsoft 365 / Azure environment
-
Oversee cloud storage, migrations, and integrations
-
Manage backup and disaster recovery systems to ensure business continuity
-
Maintain software licensing and vendor relationships
IT Strategy & Planning

Evaluate current systems and recommend improvements or upgrades
-
Develop and maintain IT documentation, processes, and procedures
-
Manage IT asset inventory and procurement
-
Provide IT guidance to leadership and support organizational growth
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * 3+ years of experience in an IT support or systems administration role

Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows environments
-
Hands-on experience with networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls)

Experience managing servers, backups, and disaster recovery
-
Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices
-
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities without supervision

Strong communication skills - able to explain technical issues in plain language, * Experience working in a small- to mid-size business environment as a sole IT resource

Relevant certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified (MS-900 / AZ-900)

Experience transitioning from an MSP or outsourced IT model to in-house

Familiarity with VoIP systems and AV equipment
