Job description

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. This is an in-house role responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting all aspects of our IT environment. The ideal candidate will be capable of operating as a one-person IT department, taking full ownership of our technology infrastructure and day-to-day support needs., Help Desk & End-User Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT support requests across the organization

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner

  • Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals

  • Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)

Network & Infrastructure

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the company network including routers, switches, and firewalls

  • Manage server infrastructure, including backups, updates, and performance monitoring

  • Ensure network uptime, stability, and security across all locations

  • Coordinate and manage VoIP/phone systems

Cybersecurity

  • Implement and manage cybersecurity measures including antivirus, firewalls, and threat detection

  • Ensure data protection and compliance with company security policies

  • Manage user access controls, permissions, and password policies

  • Conduct regular security audits and respond to incidents

Cloud & Systems Management

  • Manage and administer Microsoft 365 / Azure environment

  • Oversee cloud storage, migrations, and integrations

  • Manage backup and disaster recovery systems to ensure business continuity

  • Maintain software licensing and vendor relationships

IT Strategy & Planning

  • Evaluate current systems and recommend improvements or upgrades

  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, processes, and procedures

  • Manage IT asset inventory and procurement

  • Provide IT guidance to leadership and support organizational growth

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * 3+ years of experience in an IT support or systems administration role

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows environments

  • Hands-on experience with networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls)

  • Experience managing servers, backups, and disaster recovery

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities without supervision

  • Strong communication skills - able to explain technical issues in plain language, * Experience working in a small- to mid-size business environment as a sole IT resource

  • Relevant certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified (MS-900 / AZ-900)

  • Experience transitioning from an MSP or outsourced IT model to in-house

  • Familiarity with VoIP systems and AV equipment
