Job description

A global provider of advanced aviation tooling and technical support solutions is seeking a highly skilled Readiness Manager to support customer operations within a fast-paced engine MRO environment. This is a customer-facing, onsite role that blends technical troubleshooting, tooling coordination, inventory oversight, and project support.

The ideal candidate brings strong aviation maintenance or tooling experience, thrives in operational environments, and can effectively partner with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders., * Serve as the primary onsite liaison supporting tooling and equipment readiness activities

  • Coordinate tooling evaluations, repairs, upgrades, maintenance, and logistics
  • Support inventory management for customer-owned and company-owned assets
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydromechanical tooling issues
  • Review technical drawings and identify tooling or manufacturing concerns
  • Assist with project execution, equipment setup, and technician familiarization training
  • Support regional customer programs and ongoing maintenance initiatives
  • Collaborate with technical, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure service continuity

Technical Focus Areas

  • Aviation tooling and support equipment
  • Tooling modifications, calibrations, upgrades, and repairs
  • Mechanical evaluations and troubleshooting
  • OEM tooling and equipment support
  • Onsite customer project coordination

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical Proficiency?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience

  • 5+ years of experience in aviation maintenance, tooling/support equipment, or aviation field service
  • Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and aviation manuals
  • Experience supporting tooling manufacturing, production, or design activities preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Self-directed with strong attention to detail and customer service mindset

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable performing hands-on work throughout the workday
  • Ability to travel regionally and occasionally internationally
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple levels within customer organizations
